  • shows the trade-off between response time performance and correct unit availability for each station; this type of analysis is emphasized in the CPSE Developing Standards of Cover manual and is one of the most effective methods for understanding how station and unit locations are contributing to deployment performance
  • shows the number and type of incidents per square mile for different planning areas within the jurisdiction
  • shows both the projected population and total incidents; population projections are provided by the jurisdiction and total incident projections are calculated using a multi-linear regression
  • maps out the location of target hazards; this map was developed by working closely with the fire department to develop an appropriate list of hazards within certain hazard categories (commercial, healthcare, population centers, and transportation & energy)
